For an exclusive bespoke design, we consult closely with you to interpret your ideas for your special event, discussing choice of style, fabrics, colours and trim

We have over 20 years experience of producing children’s occasion outfits! Our designer, Sarah, can base a design idea on a Little Bevan couture sample style; or work closely with you create an individual look for the children with your choice of bespoke details; and for weddings, the design can echo the style and quality of the bridal gown.

The fabrics we use are silk dupion, lace, silk organza, countess satin, silk georgette, linen, velvet and Liberty print tana lawn. We can match a special lace to a bride’s own fabric, or source a family tartan, or search for a particular shade of silk to match the event’s theme.

Our bespoke service start with a private appointment to establish your requirements and ideal looks. We can arrange a private meeting in central London, or, we can ‘meet’ and discuss everything over a video call or by email.

The timing and days of private appointments can be very flexible; or, we can make a special plan to travel to see you at home.

You can plan an order as early as you like before the event, but we recommend allowing at least 3-4 months to comfortably plan and prepare a couture order with bespoke details. Sometimes, especially over the winter, we can accommodate orders more speedily, so please just ask!

Once an order is confirmed with a 50% deposit, we can take measurements at a studio appointment, or supply you with an easy chart to fill in at home; and we can arrange to be on hand via a Zoom call to help with measuring at home. We then carefully prepare the bespoke garments to be expertly fitted at our studio.

One appointment is usually fine, especially for our mini-clients; teenagers & adults may need 2 or 3 fittings depending on the timing, the fit and complexity of the made-to-measure garment. We can also post out garments to try on at home, with our tips on how to check the fit and on-hand guidance with a video call from our designer, Sarah.

All our made-to-measure clothes are beautifully pressed and packed so that they are easy to transport. Garments, shoes and accessories are labelled for every child, and with each sash, we attach our tips to tie a wonderful bow.

We have a lovely selection of accessories, all designed and hand-made in house: silk alice bands, hair bows, ribbons, dolly bags, fairy wands, twinkling crystal & pearl jewellery, bows and outfits for your pets, and cute matching flowergirl dolls; Lovely footwear,  essential tights and party shoes, which can be decorated and dyed to match.

Finally, we have much experience and useful tips to help brides with wedding day plans. We have many good contacts within the bridal industry, so please do pose a question and we shall try to find the answer!
