Little Bevan is about great British design. We have over 20 years of experience in creating special occasion clothes and accessories for ages from baby to young adult in a variety of luxury fabrics.  Designs with an elegant and quintessential British style; beautifully and individually made in London, with precise fit, and utmost care given to the designs, quality of fabrics and finishing details.

Our designer, Sarah’s styles are inspired by the luxury of vintage fashions, but brought up to date with a delicate touch. Sarah's natural eye for style and her creative ability were encouraged by her talented mother, who made her own Dior-look gown for a romantic 1950's wedding abroad, and after whom Little Bevan is named.

We have the flexibility to look after your needs for a special event, and to work with your ideas. Unique in our experienced and utterly personal approach, we love to take care of every detail. We can help to co-ordinate all the children and parents involved wherever they may be. Keep it simple by choosing from our classic collection, and customise with your choice of extra details, colours and accessories, available to order at our workroom & our online shop. After working at Amanda Wakeley couture and bridal, our designer Sarah Colfer was inspired to create luxury clothing for children. The very first design patterns began on the kitchen table in 2003! Little Bevan couture for children launched at the National Wedding Show, Earl's Court in October 2004. Since then, we have shown every year at London's major wedding events constantly progressing with a myriad of ideas to extend our collections of clothes and hand-made accessories to match.

Our Pimlico children’s boutique & workshop opened in the autumn of 2007, where Sarah gathered together a bubbly, creative team, experienced in art, fashion design and children! In 2019 we moved across the river to a studio in the creative hub of Battersea.

Our perfectly classic online collection for babies, boys & girls is a concise offering of our most popular styles and colours of occasion clothes, with the same quality of fabric and finish as in our couture designs. These styles are available to order at our online shop.

For couture customers, bespoke designs, unique events, catwalk shows & collaborative shoots, our Bespoke service takes our designs further, using more detailed silk fabrics, special lace trims, or hand beading, and each dress is made to measure in London for your in event.
